REPARAUTO is lid van CECRA ivzw, het Europees Comité van de Autohandel en –Reparatie.

CECRA ivzw vertegenwoordigt circa 350.000 ondernemingen waarvan 232.000 onafhankelijke autobedrijven.

Binnen CECRA ivzw probeert REPARAUTO een dynamische rol te spelen met de gelijkaardige verenigingen in andere Europese landen. Er wordt in het bijzonder aandacht besteed aan de volgende onderwerpen:

 Huidige Groepsvrijstellingsverordening 1400/2002/EG, toegang tot technische informatie, opleiding en gereedschap;
 CARS 21: een denktank opgericht door de Europese Commissie met als doel de concurrentiepositie van de Europese automobielindustrie te verstevigen;
 EURO 5 en met name artikel III inzake de toegang tot technische informatie en tools.

CECRA ivzw is aangesloten bij AFCAR, the Alliance for the Freedom of Car Repair in the European Union. AFCAR is een alliantie van Europese Aftermarket federaties waaronder EGEA (European Garage Equipment Association), AIRC (International Association of Bodywork Repairers), FIGIEFA (International Association of Spare Parts Distributors) en consumenten- en automobilistenclubs waaronder de FIA (International Automobile Association).
